Dr. Carolyn earned her Bachelor of Dental Science with Dean’s Honours from the University of Melbourne, where she was awarded the Ernest Joske Prize for Best All-Round Graduate. With five years of experience in general dentistry, both in government and private practice, she developed a strong passion for prevention, occlusion, and aesthetics, leading her to specialise in Orthodontics.

Offered admission to three prestigious Australian universities, she chose to pursue a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Specialist Orthodontics at the University of Sydney. Her dedication to clinical excellence was further recognized with the DENTSPLY DClinDent Research Prize and the John Reading Prize for best treated case at the Australian Society of Orthodontics (NSW) clinical day.

Recognition and a Pursuit for Quality

Dr. Carolyn’s pursuit of excellence is evident in her membership with The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and The Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh within the Specialist Orthodontic stream. She is certified by the Australasian Orthodontic Board and is an active member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic Society, American Association of Orthodontists, and the World Federation of Orthodontists. This involvement keeps her at the forefront of advancements in the field, allowing her to integrate the latest technologies for optimal patient outcomes and beautiful results.

Life Beyond Orthodontics

Outside of her practice, Dr. Carolyn values quality time with family, enjoys exploring culinary arts, loves Modern Jive, and keeps up with the latest blockbuster films. She also volunteers as a mentor to oral health practitioners, advocates for both dental professionals and the oral health of all Victorians, and serves as a convenor for excellence, education, and peer review within the orthodontic specialty.
